Statistics
and reading your game
From every game, DartSync keeps for each player the final score, the number of darts thrown, the best visit in 501 and 301, the three-dart average and the finishing position. The fine detail stays attached to the game: each dart, the bed it landed in, the points it scored, the visits a bust threw out. The average is the figure that places a player best: 40 to 50 for someone who plays regularly, 60 to 70 for a good player, 100 and above at the top.

How to read your figures
Three-dart average
The one figure that matters most. The higher it is, the better you are throwing. Fifty and above is good, seventy and above is strong club standard.
Best visit
The best three darts you threw. Three treble twenties is the maximum — 180.
Busts
DartSync throws out every visit that goes bust: below zero, left on 1, or zero reached with the wrong dart. Count them over a session — the fewer, the better you are managing the finish.
Darts to finish
How many darts it took you to check out. This is the figure that compares two games: twenty-one darts is club standard, eighteen a strong league leg, and fifteen is professional.

Frequently asked questions about the figures
Which statistics are available?▼
The three-dart average, the best visit, the dart count and the full dart-by-dart history of the game, player by player — plus a checkout suggestion while you are throwing.
How is the three-dart average worked out?▼
It is the total scored divided by the number of darts thrown, multiplied by three. It is the reference figure for comparing two players, whatever the length of the game.
What counts as a good darts average?▼
For a club player, passing 40 is already solid and 60 is a good standard. Professionals run at around 95 to 100. How to get there is set out in the guide to improving.
Are my games kept?▼
Yes: a game stays readable through its share link, so you can look at the figures afterwards. Automatic deletion of games left untouched is being put in place, and any game can be deleted on request — see the privacy policy.
