Play darts
with friends, in real time

In short

Everyone keeps their own phone: DartSync holds a single scoreboard for a game created in 501, 301 or Cricket, with every player entered before the first throw. The invitation link drops into the group chat, and joining asks for nothing more than a browser, with no sign-up and nothing to install. A visit typed on one device shows up on all the others at once, and the turn order looks after itself, from a duel to a tournament.

Set up a shared game

Playing together, in three steps

1

Set the game up and list the players

Pick the format — 501, 301 or Cricket — and enter everyone before you start: the game keeps the list and the throwing order for the whole table.

2

Send the invitation to the group

DartSync gives you an invitation link to drop into the group chat. Joining needs no install: any device with a browser will do.

3

Everyone scores, everyone sees

During the game any player can enter a visit from their own device, and everyone else's screen shows the change straight away.

One score, in step on every phone

Updated as it happens

Over a WebSocket, every dart entered appears in real time on the screen of every player in the game. No more score sheet going round the room: everyone is working from the same score.

Each on their own screen

Nobody has to pass a single phone around. Each player follows the game on their own device — handy for seeing whose throw it is, the score they are on and the finish on offer, without asking anyone.

How many players?

Head to head

The classic one against one, for a quick duel or to practise against a friend.

In a group

Three, four or six players: the turn order is handled for you, so nobody loses track of whose throw it is.

For a tournament

There is no limit on players. Run a night for ten, twenty or more, each on their own phone.

Frequently asked questions about playing together

How do you invite other players?▼

Setting the game up gives you a unique link to send to whoever you like, by text, messaging app or any other channel. None of the guests has an account to create.

How many people can play together?▼

There is no ceiling. A straight head-to-head and a night with twenty players work exactly the same way.

Does the score appear on every phone?▼

Yes, straight away. As soon as a visit is entered on one device, the other screens in the game show the new score without anyone refreshing the page.

Do you have to be in the same place to play together?▼

DartSync is a scorer: it assumes you are throwing at a real board, so usually in the same room. But since everyone has the game on their own phone, nothing stops a player following the score from somewhere else.

Which game modes work with several players?▼

The three most played: 501, 301 and Cricket. The mode is chosen when the game is set up.
